Phoenix House is a facility that works with other similar projects around the UK. They house drug addicts from areas that the residents are not local to and therefore do not know where to obtain drugs whilst at the facility. Residents are confined to the project premises for around 6 months whilst they are rehabilitated.

Difference Engines Limited assisted Phoenix House by maintaining the workstations that were used by the residents. This involved designing a secure build with very restricted access.

Training and telephone support was provided to the project by Difference Engines Limited. Due to the nature of the facility an implicit level of trust was relied upon because even the local residents of the surrounding area were not aware of the sensitivity nor purpose of the facility of which they lived nearby.
